The Most Talented Kids

I just can not be more proud of my kids. They continue to work hard at their music.

Gina's first guitar recital was just before spring break. She did a great job and sounded terrific!

Amanda had a recital in December. Sam was sick that day and I had to catch it on the video replay.

Even though they continually argue with me about practicing, I think they know how much they are improving!

Sam has made a lot of progress in sign language. We can undersatand most of what he says but when he signs also, things go a bit more smoothly. I tried make an audition video for Signing Time. The show was asking for submissions from kids 3 and under. You will see he was not feeling particularly cooperative that day.

Gina and Amanda - congratulations! You both sounded amazing! I am so impressed by your accomplishments at your recitals. Keep up the great work!

Maybe Sam can teach his cousin Eliana some signs. We are hoping it will help her to communicate with us while she is acquiring English and adjusting to speech with a closed palate. Good work, buddy! (NO was very clear, by the way)!

I also liked JJ's addition to the video - some unusual moaning sounds!

I can't wait to follow your family blog. Barb, you will have a lot of fun with it. Welcome to the blogosphere!

Hello Mark too and hugs and kisses to you all from your Virginia family. :o)

Barb and Mark, Thanks for sending us the latest on the kids.

Gina, your guitar recital was great! Grandpa and I were happy to be able to hear you. You're starting to play difficult pieces now. Good job!

Amanda, you're doing so well on the piano. By this time next year, you'll be playing the same music that I play. You're learning very fast! Great work!

Sammy, Grandma and Grandpa like to see how much you've grown. You are changing fast and growing up. I think that you're not only signing (when you want to) but pronouncing words more clearly too! What a big boy!

We love all of you and miss you. Sammy, are you getting ready for your birthday? It won't be long!
Love, Grandma and Grandpa Dunn

Sam, I love the sign language. You can teach me as well.

You guys sound great! Aunt Michelle remembers playing one of the pieces that Gina did at her recital back in in the stone ages...

Sam, Sam the signing man. Good job buddy. You will always be able to talk in the movies and never bother anyone!
